I have been publishing to this blog for about 3 years. Because I have settled into a pattern of posting, today I decided to spend a couple hours to add some category structure to my previous posts. The new categories are Bigelow Aerospace (18 posts going back to May, 2004), Google (17 posts going back to April, 2004), and SpaceX (45 posts going back to April, 2004).
Taking a look at the entire body of posts, I am happy with what I have published. There have been times when I have posted more than other times, and therefore there are some holes in the timelines of the subjects covered. There are few daily readers because of this, but the logs show that plenty of people find my content via the search engines.
One area in which I need to improve is increased use of graphics. Pictures and graphs are golden, if they are on-point to the post. At least I like to look at them. My goal is to have a picture or chart in every post, more or less. Sometimes it is a balancing act of stealing other people's content while highlighting something that they have accomplished. If you think I have misbalanced a post that includes your content, please let me know and I will rebalance.
Don't know what "daily visitor" would mean today in the age of RSS :)
I have your feed together with about two dozen others and my reader checks all of them approximately every 3 hours or so. If there is new content, it informs me.
All blogs I follow I follow that way - I visit only when new content is available (and seems interesting).
